Our Short Story

Lorica has evolved like every successful business. We started back in 1990 and serviced our clients with what was relevant at the time. We rolled out some of the earliest deployments of Microsoft Small Business Server allowing small businesses to operate with much of the functionality previously only available to large corporations. Our staff have been involved in the cutting edge of IT for over 40 years and have an uncanny knack of seeing which emerging technologies will benefit our clients and be in a position to adopt and deploy them at the correct time. We had our head in the cloud long before the term hit the mainstream.

Our adoption of Office 365 was at it's very inception. While similar services are available from other sources, easily searched for (pun intended), we maintain that the offerings from Microsoft are not only better supported, better featured, easier to use and familiar but right for our clients.

Sometimes an on premise server is required and we're geared up and have the experience to work with your Line Of Business Solutions provider to specify, install and support a variety of servers. PART 2 : The end user equipment.

While the main server load is moved into the cloud there is still a variety of end user equipment that needs to be supported. Our managed service offering will ensure this runs with minimum downtime by performing regular preemtive maintenance as well as monitoring and providing pro-active support.

PART 3 : The End User - Your resource, we help it work

We've spent a lot of time supporting small and medium sized companies and we know one area that is seldom addressed but could provide the biggest improvements in productivity gain and reduction in downtime.
