You have to admire the way hackers and scammers make an opportunity out of anything. With us all expecting invitations to services such as Zoom the mantra of
“don’t click on anything in an email unless you are 100% sure it is genuine”
can easily be forgotten.
Here’s a very convincing email that arrived into email@example.com today.
You really don’t need to analyse it – just don’t click anything and delete it but if you want to, please look at the areas I’ve outlined in red. They all point to the fact it’s fake.
Oh….as well as the fact the scheduled time was over 6 hours before the email arrived.
